Who we are
SmokeScreen Publications works with a select group of writers in the South West of England. All of our collaborators focus on horror as their mainstay, though we never clip the creative wings of those we work with. We unashamedly focus on genre fiction, snobs be damned.
Our aim is to support and promote authors who we think have something different to say, and a unique way of saying it.
We are a small team of passionate collaborators with a focus on quality and mutual support. Without challenge there is no growth, and honest feedback from one to another helps our writers get better at what they do.
These stories may be fantastical, they may be focused on horror, or they may be designed to thrill. Either way, expect content that lesser sites may feel the need to tag with trigger warnings.
